President, Advertising, Comcast Cable
Marcien Jenckes serves as President, Advertising for Comcast Cable. In this role, he is responsible for Comcast’s portfolio of advertising assets, positioning Comcast for continued success and even greater levels of growth as the advertising market adapts to new technology and business models.
Previously, Marcien oversaw Comcast Cable’s residential lines of business, which include Xfinity Video, Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Home, and Xfinity Voice, including the strategy, development, and deployment of innovative technologies and services across all categories to provide a great entertainment and communications experience for tens of millions of customers.
Prior to joining Comcast, Marcien was an entrepreneur, involved with a host of digital advertising and media syndication start-ups including Grab Networks and Voxant. He also held a variety of leadership roles at AOL Inc., where he launched AOL’s free web services, including the free AOL.com portal. Prior to AOL, Marcien worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in their media and telecom practice.
Marcien holds a MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a BA in economics and political science from New York University.
General Manager, Effectv
James Rooke is general manager of Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, he leads the company as it embarks on its next chapter and mission: to become the world’s smartest audience delivery company by combining the targeting and measurement of digital with the reach and impact of television. James oversees a 3,500-person nationwide team across sales, operations, technology, product, data innovation and insights, and customer experience to pioneer and unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation and industry leadership. Additionally, he cultivates Effectv’s relationships with external stakeholders and industry organizations, including sitting on the Board of the Video Advertising Bureau (VAB).
Previously, James was a general manager at FreeWheel, a division of Comcast Advertising alongside Effectv. At FreeWheel, James oversaw the company’s supply-side-focused global business unit that provides the premium video industry with purpose-built software and services to enable programmer and distributor clients to maximize the value of their advertising inventory across all screens, audiences and sales channels.
Prior to the company’s acquisition by Comcast, James was chief revenue officer of FreeWheel, where he led global revenue and client services across the technology, advisory services and marketplace business lines. Before becoming CRO, he was responsible for designing and launching FreeWheel’s first video marketplace and managing its global expansion. James first joined FreeWheel in 2012 as vice president of advisory services.
Before joining FreeWheel, he was vice president, strategy and execution for Spectrum Reach. In this position, James partnered with sales, operations, marketing and product to design and roll out strategic initiatives across the advertising business. He also served as head of strategy and transformation for the media and entertainment practice at Capgemini Consulting and as a consultant for Ernst & Young.
James earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Birmingham’s School of Business. He resides in the New York area with his family.
Chief Revenue Officer, Effectv
Brendan Condon is chief revenue officer of Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Brendan is responsible for the company’s sales revenue, execution and effectiveness across all lines of business. He leads Effectv’s salesforce and its processes, with a strategic focus on customer experience and account management to drive revenue growth and exceed its targets.
Brendan is a 30-year global media veteran specializing in multi-platform sales, with a strong blend of linear, digital video, mobile and addressable advertising experience across private and public companies, both domestically and internationally.
Before joining Effectv, he served as president of AdMore and REVShare at Cannella Media, where he led the audience-based programmatic television advertising platform and one of the nation’s largest short-form direct-response providers. Brendan was also previously the chief executive officer of Media Properties Holdings, which was part of The Carlyle Group previous to its sale to Cannella Media. As CEO, Brendan served as a turnaround specialist, orchestrating a founder transition, senior management realignment and a successful sale process and exit, resulting in scalable profitability.
Prior to Media Properties Holdings, Brendan held senior advertising executive leadership roles with Time Warner Inc. As senior vice president, AOL in London, he led global mobile, search engine marketing, affiliate and APAC advertising initiatives and served as managing director for the launch of AOL’s Platform-A International advertising division. Brendan was also chief financial officer, Advertising.com, championing the acquisition and integration of the acquired firm. In addition, he served as senior vice president, Time Inc., where he managed full P+L responsibilities for Media Networks Inc. and originated the Custom Publishing division.
Brendan is an advisory board member of TagMan, a tag management marketing data platform. He is also former vice-chairman of the board for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and former board member of the Electronic Retailing Association.
Brendan earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from St. John’s University and Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. In addition, he completed graduate studies at New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Science and the Masters Division of The Juilliard School in piano performance.

Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Comcast Cable Advertising
Sandy Gunn is senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Cable Advertising. He is responsible for the people strategy of Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company that provides advertising software and solutions for the entire television ecosystem. This includes developing and implementing programs and initiatives that attract, grow and retain the right talent to drive the business into the next decade.
In 2008, Sandy joined Comcast Corporation as chief people officer for Comcast Interactive Media. He also served as senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Cable, and most recently, as senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Spotlight.
With more than 35 years of experience, Sandy has an extensive background in talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation and benefits, and organizational effectiveness with a successful track record of developing high-performing teams and people at all organizational levels.
Prior to Comcast, Sandy built his human resources career by supporting businesses around the world for leading companies such as Vonage, EMI Music, Vivendi Universal and Schlumberger, Ltd.
Sandy graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and marketing and a Bachelor of Administration. He resides with his wife in the Philadelphia area.
Chief Marketing Officer, Comcast Cable Advertising
As chief marketing officer at Comcast Advertising, Maria Weaver isn’t just about maintaining brand standards, rather she focuses on building a brand that customers love and trust, growing revenue through creative ideas and building programs that convert leads to sales. She is responsible for all facets of marketing for Comcast Advertising including for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight) the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company that provides advertising software and solutions for the entire television ecosystem. Her scope includes overseeing over 200 marketing employees in brand marketing, creative services, product marketing, sales marketing and demand generation.
In 2016, Maria joined Effectv as senior vice president, marketing, playing a key role in redefining the Effectv brand and elevating awareness to help differentiate the company and increase revenue. She also led the development of Effectv’s award-winning advertising campaign and rebuilt a nationwide marketing organization to support the evolving needs of the business and the industry.
After being promoted to senior vice president, global marketing for Comcast Advertising in 2017, she continued her success in building high performance teams by creating a strong, international marketing organization to support the evolving needs of the business and the industry.
With more than 30 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, Maria’s career has come full circle- beginning in cable television sales early on, moving to content creation, distribution, digital sales and now, back to cable television advertising.
Maria held a number of senior marketing roles at Interactive One, the digital division of Urban One (formerly Radio One), including senior vice president, head of national sales and marketing. In addition, Maria was principal for Triple Threat Films and held various marketing and creative roles for Home Box Office. Maria was also senior project leader of The Red Group for Showtime. She began her advertising career with Rainbow Advertising Sales, a division of Cablevision.
Maria received the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications Award of Excellence for African American brand advertising campaign, the 2015 Council of Urban Professionals Catalyst Award and multiple honors from The Telly Awards and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing. She serves on the board of She Runs It, Figure Skating in Harlem and the International Radio and Television Society.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media studies from Pace University and a Master of Professional Studies from Pratt Institute. She resides with her family in the New York area.
VP Finance & Chief Financial Officer, Effectv
Kathy DeAmicis is vice president, finance and chief financial officer for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Kathy oversees all facets of finance for the company.
Kathy joined Effectv in 2003, and throughout her tenure, she has brought her expertise to a number of finance leadership roles. Most recently, Kathy was vice president, financial planning and analysis, where she played a critical role in the business unit’s budget, forecast, long-range planning and inventory acquisition efforts.
Prior to Effectv, Kathy served as senior manager in the assurance practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she serviced clients in various industries. She has nearly 25 years of experience in finance.
Kathy is a recipient of Effectv’s President’s Club Spotlight Leadership Award and an executive sponsor for Comcast Cable’s Finance Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum as well as Effectv’s Women in Leadership Program and Leadership Exposure and Development Program.

Vice President, National Sales, Effectv
Melanie Hamilton is vice president, national sales for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Melanie is responsible for strategy, operational activities and direct sales for its national sales vertical. She also partners with Ampersand, the cable industry’s media ad sales and technology company, working with national clients and holding agencies to ensure share growth.
Prior to joining Effectv in 2019, Melanie worked at Google, where she served in various capacities since 2008. Most recently, as head of industry for telecom, she was tapped to drive client growth and lead a bi-coastal, cross-functional team which ignited opportunities across their marketing, ad technology and cloud teams.
In her other positions, Melanie served as head of industry for retail, head of industry for financial services, senior sales lead for Google+ and local ad products as well as senior account executive for Google TV Ads. Melanie has successfully led teams and initiatives and forged strong c-level relationships by creating joint business plans to accelerate partnerships and effectively changed the trajectory of their customers’ core business.
Before Google, Melanie worked in the advertising sales departments for NBCUniversal at its owned and operated stations in New York and San Francisco.

Vice President, Automotive Strategy, Effectv
Todd Hauser is vice president, automotive strategy for Effectv the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Todd is responsible for developing the advertising strategy for all OEMs across tiers two and three throughout Effectv’s footprint.
Prior to joining Effectv in 2017, Todd served as senior vice president of regional advertising director for Agency 720. While at Agency 720, he led the strategic collaboration between key Chevrolet AOR partners including agency, media, digital and Chevrolet’s promotional agencies. His team pioneered General Motors digital strategies that delivered in market auto shopper results for the Chevrolet network. Todd’s leadership and focus was instrumental in developing new business and building and staffing the Agency 720 Southeast office for the Chevrolet business managing 17 employees who actively represent 39 Chevy dealer groups in seven states.
With more than 29 years of experience in automotive advertising, Todd has also served as senior vice president and regional southeast director for BBDO where he managed Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Dealer Advertising Association business. Agency billings rose in excess of $240 million dollars in a five year span.
In addition, Todd was vice president of regional supervisor, west for BBDO and led agency field offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Portland which serviced the Dodge Dealer clients. While there, he oversaw 15 agency team members that generated $120 million in annual agency billings.
Todd graduated from Eastern Michigan University and lives with his family in the Atlanta area.
Vice President, Customer Experience, Effectv
Megan Latham is vice president, customer experience for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Megan serves as a voice and advocate for current and prospective clients, representing the advertiser perspective in all aspects of decision making, including business planning and product initiatives. She also partners with leaders across the organization to spearhead new and innovative solutions to continually drive best-in-class customer experiences.
Megan is a 19-year media veteran with a proven track record of orchestrating best-in-class client service, transforming businesses and growing revenue. Prior to joining Effectv she served as global head of client service and revenue operations for Bloomberg. Megan oversaw the end-to-end client management business and helped transform the client experience with Bloomberg Media by strategically identifying and enhancing areas of the business for improvement. In addition, she previously led global advertising operations and digital advertising operations for Bloomberg.
Before Bloomberg, Megan held various advertising leadership roles at Time Inc., including senior director, ad strategy for People.com, where she led the evaluation and execution of advertising strategy for all new launches. In addition, she was in client services for PlanetOut, ePartners and Excite@Home.
The work of Megan and her teams has been recognized by numerous industry accolades, including AdMonsters Power List Winner (2018), Folio: 100 Winner (2017), The Drum’s Ad Ops Team of the Year (2017) and Media Industry News’ Ad Ops Team of the Year (2016 and 2017).

Senior Vice President, Sales Excellence, Effectv
Teresa Lucido is senior vice president, sales excellence for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. She is responsible for enabling an efficient and effective sales process by aligning and standardizing enterprise practices, tools, resources and talent development to grow the business. In this role, Teresa leads innovative teams across the country including Sales Portfolio Management, Sales Effectiveness, Sales Enablement and Deployment.
Prior to this role, Teresa was senior vice president, advertising sales, directing the overall sales strategy and sales execution of the company’s video product suite in 31 designated market areas including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston and Detroit.
Teresa has more than 30 years of media experience spanning print, agency, radio, television and digital. She joined Comcast Spotlight in 2006 and held successive leadership positions in the company’s Michigan markets including vice president and general manager, as well as divisional senior vice president.
Before joining Comcast Spotlight, Teresa spent nearly 18 years with the Detroit Media Partnership, formerly the Detroit Newspaper Agency and The Detroit News, where she held several sales and marketing management positions, including vice president, advertising sales.
A leader in the media industry, Teresa was named by Cablefax to the 2018 Sales Hall of Fame and is a multi-year winner of their Most Powerful Women in Cable award. She was also inducted into the Michigan Business Hall of Fame in 2019 and recognized as one of the newspaper industry’s Top 20 under 40 by Press Time Magazine.
Teresa serves as an executive sponsor of Comcast Spotlight’s Inclusion Committee and participates as a college student mentor as part of Detroit’s Women in Advertising & Communication organization. Previously, she was a board member of the New York Interconnect.

Michael Miller is vice president, video strategy for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Mike leads the company’s cross-platform video strategy, which includes inventory acquisition, yield management and maximizing monetization for linear, digital and video on demand. In addition, he oversees Effectv’s affiliate strategy and partners with key external and internal stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities.
In 2005, Mike joined Effectv as director, operations for the Michigan region. He later served as Midwest division director of emerging technologies, Northcentral division executive director of advanced media, Northcentral division vice president of interactive media and corporate vice president of interactive media. Most recently, Mike was vice president, video sales strategy, as well as vice president, interactive, where he was instrumental in transforming the interactive business into a significant growth driver of Effectv.
Prior to Effectv, Mike co-owned Behco, Inc., an industrial automation distributor. As executive vice president, operations and sales, he automated operations and implemented strategies that increased sales 250 percent while doubling the employment base. In addition, Mike held leadership positions with CSC Index and Texas Instruments, Inc.
Mike serves on the Board of Directors for Fluid Air Controls, the manufacturer of Flairline and Hydronic products, and the Advisory Board of the Stratford-Cambridge Group, a Michigan-based buyout and private equity firm. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Behco, Inc. and Hydronic Corporation, a manufacturer of hydraulic components.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. He is also a graduate of Comcast’s Executive Leadership Forum.

SVP Technology & Operations, Effectv
Travis Parrill is senior vice president, technology and operations for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. He is responsible for the enterprise technology and operations organization including product architecture, engineering, quality control, traffic, technology and solutions, project management organization, operational intelligence and campaign management.
In this role, Travis leads the technical architecture vision across television and digital advertising products, partnering with the Effectv Platform Engineering Group, FreeWheel and a variety of technology vendors to help marketers identify clients and reach audiences to drive brand awareness to customer attribution. He also oversees the execution of all advertising campaigns and the introduction of new and improved systems and processes to provide an exceptional customer experience, maximize growth and drive efficiencies and profitability.
In 2001, Travis joined Effectv and throughout his tenure, he has led technical, engineering, execution and information systems teams across Effectv and Comcast Cable.
Early on, he was instrumental in orchestrating the consolidation of three operations centers to a centralized location in Effectv’s former West Division. In 2015, he led the operational integration for all of Effectv—bringing together the technology, tools, systems and processes from the previous divisional structure to a single enterprise approach that has delivered significant efficiency to the business and advertisers.
At Comcast Cable, Travis oversaw the engineering efforts for the Denver market and surrounding areas. Under his leadership, the team deployed DOCSIS 3.0 under Comcast’s high-speed data initiative, guided the transition to full digital television and supported numerous back-office transactions and rollouts of channel launches.
Previously, Travis was a systems engineer for Corporate Technologies, a leading provider of managed IT solutions. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Mary where he instructed computer information systems.
Travis received Multichannel News’ 40 Under 40 Award and Effectv’s National Leadership Award. He holds a number of degrees from the University of Mary including a Bachelor of Applied Science in computer information services, a Bachelor of Applied Science in business administration and a Master of Business Administration.

Vice President, Product Strategy, Effectv
Kelly Perone is vice president, product strategy for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Kelly leads the product strategy team responsible for creating and defining Effectv’s roadmap of new, technology-supported products, capabilities and enhancements.
In this role, Kelly focuses on all aspects of decision making and business planning for new products and enhancements for existing products. In addition, she and her team identify which solutions position Comcast Spotlight for today and the future providing clients the best experience, products, results and value.
Prior to joining Effectv in 2017, Kelly served as senior vice president, product at Tremor Video, now Telaria Inc (TLRA), where she oversaw its SSP and DSP development of video advertising opportunities across devices. During her tenure, Kelly spearheaded Tremor Video’s product transformation from an ad network to a combined media and ad tech company. She was responsible for increasing and strengthening company output to transform its value proposition in the marketplace, growing revenue and EBIDTA, and successfully exiting the DSP to a global mobile marketing company.
Prior to Tremor Video, Kelly held various product leadership positions at small media and ad tech startups in New York City, and created the original digital campaign stewardship platform for Donovan Data Systems for the U.S., U.K., Canadian and German markets (now Media Ocean’s Prisma).
Kelly earned a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Professional Communication from Iowa State University. She resides in New Jersey with her family.
Vice President, Political Strategy, Effectv
Dan Sinagoga is vice president, political sales for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Dan is responsible for political sales, strategy, and driving revenue growth for the category. He also oversees the relationship for political with Ampersand, the cable industry’s media ad sales and technology company.
In 2003, Dan joined Effectv and successfully held sales management positions, starting as a field marketing manager and regional sales manager before taking on his current role in political, which has been instrumental to Effectv’s growth in share for the category.
Prior to joining Effectv Dan began his career in media sales at Turner Sports and the Detroit Tigers as senior director of advertising sales, where he developed sales strategy and led a team responsible for bringing in $15 million dollars of sponsorship revenue.
Dan graduated from Northwood University and resides with his family in the Detroit area.
Senior Vice President, Sales Strategy, Effectv
Rick Stanley is senior vice president, sales strategy for Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Rick is responsible for the success of the business through revenue growth and establishing client development strategies. This includes leading New Business Development, Client Development, Media & Entertainment and Advanced Platform Solutions.
Most recently, Rick was senior vice president, advertising sales, managing the overall sales strategy and sales execution of the company’s video product suite in 34 designated market areas including San Francisco, Houston, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami and Denver.
Since joining Effectv in 2002, Rick has held a number of sales leadership roles including vice president and general manager of the Seattle market, vice president and general manager of the San Francisco market and divisional senior vice president.
Rick has more than 25 years of advertising sales experience, including over a decade with the Viacom Television Stations Group (now CBS Television Stations). He was director of sales for WBBM-TV, a CBS-owned-and-operated television station in Chicago. He also held general sales and national sales management positions at KTXA-TV in Dallas and was a local sales manager for WGNT-TV in Norfolk, Va. Prior to the TV industry, Rick spent six years in financial consulting.

Vice President, Data Innovation & Insights, Effectv
Andrea Zapata is Vice President of Data Innovation & Insights at Effectv (formerly known as Comcast Spotlight), the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, where she oversees Effectv’s data innovation and measurement team as well as the in-market client research team.
In this role, Andrea is responsible for the company’s initiative to develop and introduce innovative, unique research solutions to help clients reach specific audiences. In addition, she provides custom research insights for local, regional and national businesses, as well as industry trends to support Effectv’s internal teams, leading the organization into the data-driven future with audience and attribution.
Andrea joined Effectv from Vevo, where she served as Vice President, Research and Analytics. At Vevo, Andrea built the research practice from the ground up and made critical changes in Vevo’s go-to-market sales narrative—overseeing the shift from views to audience—while developing data-driven media products, which contributed to Vevo doubling its revenue.
Prior to Vevo, Andrea led ad sales research at Hulu, where her team initiated demographic currency reporting capabilities that drove Hulu’s acceptance by all major agencies and holding groups as a key player in video. Andrea began her research career at ESPN.
Andrea graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She resides in the New York area with her family.
