Overview:
Affiliated Media is an independent agency based in Portland, OR. Helping with everything from ad creation to media buying, Affiliated Media supports a roster of 50+ local and national clients spanning categories such as HVAC, QSR, home improvement, and automotive. By working with Effectv as its largest media partner, Affiliated Media has been able to grow its clients’ businesses substantially.
The agency recently enlisted us to help boost business for two particular clients, Burgerville and Consolidated Community Credit Union (CCCU).
Strategy:
Affiliated Media relies on Effectv for our ability to run audience-targeted, multiscreen campaigns utilizing Comcast’s aggregated first-party, deterministic data insights.
For Burgerville, Affiliated Media partnered with us to build out numerous custom audience segments over several years and target them with relevant messaging.
For CCCU, Effectv started with research. We found that one in four consumers prefer credit cards from local banks or credit unions, meaning credit unions have a chance to become consumers’ primary issuer. With this information, we then helped Affiliated Media create a series of commercials showing everyday Portlanders putting their faith in CCCU – not just for general banking, but for everything from home loans and share certificates to high-yield savings accounts. These ads were then aligned with various targeted multiscreen campaigns running across premium networks and programming.
Results:
Burgerville saw increased loyalty and higher profits correlating to its campaign, which in turn enabled the chain to build new locations and expand its footprint.
For CCCU, Effectv’s Instant IMPACT, powered by Innovid, showed that while the campaign was running, it correlated to boosts in key performance indicators. The credit union’s direct search traffic rose +48% and top page viewership rose +12%.
“What I really like about Effectv is that it’s given us the opportunity to go beyond cable,” said Felicia Brunetti, Affiliated Media Account Manager. “We’re able to target viewers regardless of where they are.”
